Paris In The Rain
Eight days, mostly on foot. We had a loose plan and abandoned it by the second morning. The rain never fully stopped, which turned out to be the best thing about it — empty courtyards, fogged-up café windows, the whole city a little quieter than it’s supposed to be.
What we ate
Too much. A standing list, in no particular order: the first croissant of every morning, an absurd amount of cheese from a shop near the apartment, and one dinner we are still talking about.
“Let’s just walk until something looks good.” — a strategy that worked every single time.
We’ll come back in the rain again.
